Bird+Bull's surveying group encompasses office personnel for management, calculation and drafting support, and field personnel to support five field crews, outfitted with modern equipment, including Leica Total Station Theodolites and Data Collection Equipment (directly applicable to Bird+Bull's CADD System), and Leica Precision Levels. This group provides surveying services and construction staking for Bird+Bull projects, as well as, for other firms and construction companies, independent of Bird+Bull involvement.

Bird+Bull's surveying group has performed general surveying on tracts of land ranging in size from residential lots to farms as large as 1000 acres. The firm has completed property surveys with disputed boundaries and highly accurate topographical maps for building sites where the location of utilities, trees, and other features are very important. The firm has also provided construction staking of houses, buildings, streets and utilities for many projects, contractors and developers.
